The Plymouth Avenue and Legacy Village Green Teams

Federal, state, and community organizations team up to 'green' a neighborhood in Minneapolis, MN.

Several community organizations with funding from the USDA Forest Service and the Minnesota DNR MNReLeaf Program work together to create a plan for the urban forest along Plymouth avenue in Minneapolis' North side neighborhood. They also implement planting and care for the trees and shrubs. Specific partnerships, how each group takes on different roles, and accomplishments are all described.
