The Manager of the Nolen Greenhouses is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Nolen Greenhouses and supervision of the staff responsible for growing plants for exhibitions, seasonal displays, and the living collections.
The Manager of the Nolen Greenhouses is responsible for scheduling plant production, ordering plant material, developing soil mixes, ordering supplies and materials, overseeing computerized climate control systems, and directly supervising staff, students and volunteers in the Nolen Greenhouses and associated facilities. She/He develops and manages budgets for plant production, collections care, and infrastructure management. Performs other related work as required.
